Dear Sir,

My name is John Lorence and I am part of the USS Greenwood Assn. We are looking for information on our ship's namesake, a one Frank Greenwood of Methuen Mass. He was born 10 Jan 1915 and killed in action aboard the USS Erie 12 Nov 1942. His mother's name was Laura, also from Methuen Mass.

I have called all the Greenwood's in Methuen and no one there seems to know of him. I also have called the Methuen historical Assn and they only have a small write up on him. Their house number was 120 Camden St. Methuen Mass. but the building no longer stands. We are looking for relatives with info and a picture of LTjg Frank Greenwood to fill out our web site.
